Gregory L. Dose joined Goldstine, Skrodzki, Russian, Nemec and Hoff, Ltd. as a partner in 2004. He represents real estate developers before local governments, state and federal agencies and administrative tribunals, defends property owners in condemnation actions by local and state authorities, represents clients in zoning, land use and eminent domain litigation before trial and appellate courts, and serves as administrator and corporate counsel for a public water and sewer district.
Since Greg joined the firm, he obtained entitlements for several residential developments and restaurants and hotels, including Morton’s-The Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill, Hilton Garden Inn and Courtyard by Marriott. Greg also served as issuer’s counsel for a $23 million bond issue by Otter Creek Water Reclamation District in Kane County, and he negotiated favorable terms for clients whose property was subject to condemnation by the Illinois Department of Transportation and the Illinois Tollway Authority.
Greg is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and has published articles and spoken at seminars on topics related to land use and development, including zoning and annexation. He is a founding member of the Board of Directors of Giant Steps Illinois, which established a school and programs for children with autism, and is a former member and Chairman of the Western Springs Economic Development Commission. Greg has earned Illinois Super Lawyers designation in the areas of Land Use/Zoning, Government/Cities/Municipalities, and Real Estate.
