James D. Healy has been associated with Goldstine, Skrodzki, Russian, Nemec and Hoff, Ltd. since 1996 and a partner since 2006. Jim represents units of local government with special work done in the areas of redevelopment, housing matters, condemnation and eminent domain. He represents corporate clients in all facets of their involvement with government, from liquor licenses and Minority and Women Business Enterprise (MBE and WBE) certifications to redevelopment, real estate development, zoning and land use.
Jim is actively involved in his community, serving on the DuPage County Board since 1998 representing District 5 (Aurora-Naperville). He was a DuPage County Forest Preserve District Commissioner from 1998-2002, and the 3rd Ward Alderman in the City of Des Plaines. Jim is also a Commissioner on the Northeast Illinois Planning Commission, and serves on the Aurora Economic Development Committee and the Naperville Development Partnership Board of Directors. He is active in national organizations, serving on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Regional Councils, the National Association of County Officials and several transportation planning committees. Jim is a former adjunct faculty member and guest lecturer at Elmhurst College.
