Kristina E. Buchenauer has been associated with Goldstine, Skrodzki, Russian, Nemec and Hoff, Ltd. since 2004. Kristina counsels clients regarding all business issues, from entrepreneurial startups to large privately-held companies, including entity organization and owner agreements, capital and financing matters, ongoing corporate governance, and company acquisitions and dispositions.
Kristina has assisted with preparing documents for affiliated companies to raise $5 million in connection with their restructuring and new business venture. She also has negotiated and prepared asset and stock purchase agreements and related documents in connection with acquisitions and dispositions of businesses, including restaurants, hair salons and medical equipment companies.
Outside of the firm, Kristina is also a lecturer. Her most recent speaking engagement being in 2006 at How to Buy a Business Seminar by Joseph Associates International, Inc. titled “Legal Aspects of a Business Acquisition.” Prior to that, she was a speaker at a meeting of the Small Business Committee of the American Bar Association Section of Business Law on “Non-Issuer Securities Fraud Liability—A Real Life Story” in 2003 and a Public Interest Law Initiative program meeting at Loyola University Chicago School of Law’s Business Law Center on “Now You’re In Business! How to Keep Corporate Records and Maintain Corporate Formalities” in 2003.
