Richard J. Skrodzki has been associated with Goldstine, Skrodzki, Russian, Nemec and Hoff, Ltd. since 1977, a partner since 1984 and currently serves as its Managing Partner and President. Rick started at the firm as a law clerk while in law school when the firm consisted of only two attorneys, and now he leads the firm’s Land Use and Development and Local Government practice areas. Within these areas, Rick represents clients before local government staffs, public hearing commissions and boards, and city and village elected officials to secure land entitlement approvals. This work includes all forms of zoning and land incentive benefits where appropriate, including extensive tax increment financing matters. Rick has also represented local governments as village attorney, prosecutor and special counsel. He also represents clients in commercial real estate matters, including purchases, sales, leasing and financing.

Rick has been a presenter at the Illinois Municipal Lawyers' Annual Conference and has served as past Chairman for the Chicago Bar Association Local Government Committee and the Public Affairs Committee, past member of the Chicago Bar Association Board of Managers, and charter member of the Illinois Institute of Local Government Lawyers.  Rick is active in the community and has served as a past member and Chairman of the Western Springs Economic Development Committee, past member and President of the Catholic Charities of Chicago Board of Directors, and member of the Board of Directors of LaGrange Country Club.
