Greg Dose joined Goldstine, Skrodzki, Russian, Nemec and Hoff, Ltd. as a partner in 2004. Greg represents real estate developers before local governments, state and federal agencies and administrative tribunals, defends property owners in condemnation actions by local and state authorities, represents clients in zoning, disconnection and eminent domain litigation before trial and appellate courts, and serves as corporate and special counsel for municipalities and public water agencies.
Since joining the firm Greg has obtained entitlements and economic benefits for several residential and retail developments, and restaurants and hotels. Greg also served as issuer's counsel for a $23 million tax-exempt bond issue by a water reclamation district, and negotiated favorable terms for clients whose property was subject to condemnation by the Illinois Department of Transportation and the Illinois Tollway Authority.
Greg has earned Illinois Super Lawyers designation in the area of Land Use/Zoning and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP). He has published articles and spoken at seminars on topics related to land use and development, including zoning and annexation. Greg is a member and former Chairman of the Local Government Committee of the Chicago Bar Association. He is a founding member of the Board of Directors of Giant Steps Illinois, which established a school and programs for children and adults with autism, and is a former member and Chairman of the Western Springs Economic Development Commission.
