John T. O'Connell

John O’Connell has been associated with Goldstine, Skrodzki, Russian, Nemec and Hoff, Ltd. since 2015. Currently, John is the Village Attorney for the Village of Hodgkins, a position that he has held since 1979. During this period, the Village of Hodgkins annexed a significant amount of land and increased its annual retail sales tax revenues from $30,000 to $5.7 million. Additionally, John represents the Brookfield-North Riverside Water Commission.

John has been in private practice since 1978. He was elected to the Illinois House of Representatives in 1980 and served eight years. John is now an active lobbyist to the Illinois General Assembly, representing a variety of clients, including multinational corporations and educational institutions.
