Clients are counseled on the principles of estate planning, including available alternatives for their estates, planning for disability, complex principles of estate, gift and income tax laws, and options to plan their estates in the most tax efficient manner. Clients are advised of various estate planning techniques, including living trusts, utilizing marital deduction and exemption equivalents, lifetime giving using family limited partnerships, LLCs, charitable remainder trusts, and irrevocable insurance trusts. Clients are also counseled on planning for disability and the use of powers of attorney for health care and for property and living trusts.
